STEM in P1

24th Mar 2025

We were delighted to welcome Dr. Hamill today from Queen's university  We used our senses to talk about and explore fruit and vegetables.  We found out what happens our bodies when we eat healthy foods and what happens when we eat unhealthy foods.  There were stories, art and practical activities making it a very busy, informative and fun filled day.  We brought home a goodie bag filled with fresh vegetables and a soup recipe.  There will be some master chefs hard at work this evening in homes all over Randalstown!

Thank you to our  STEM ambassadors and Queen's university for making this happen.  We are very fortunate indeed!
