Primary 2 had great fun putting their STEM skills to the test in a Sink or Float investigation!
Using recyclable materials, the children designed and built their own boats, with some even testing materials at home and making adaptions to their boat in school.
Today, we tested them to see which would sink and which would float.
Our findings showed that cardboard became waterlogged and sank, while plastic was the most effective material because it is waterproof and helped the boats stay afloat.
